At Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC, the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children is extremely important to us.

We are committed to creating a safe, positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where children can enjoy creativity, self-expression, community activities, and artistic opportunities with confidence.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to:

  • encourage creativity in a safe environment,

  • promote kindness, confidence, and wellbeing,

  • protect children’s privacy and dignity,

  • ensure respectful behaviour across our platform and events,

  • provide positive and inclusive creative experiences for all children.

2. Online Safety

We take steps to help ensure our website and online spaces remain safe for children and families.

We aim to:

  • carefully review submitted content where possible,

  • avoid displaying sensitive personal information,

  • only use limited details such as first name and age where permission is given,

  • remove inappropriate content if identified,

  • maintain a respectful and family-friendly environment.

Parents or guardians may request removal of artwork or information at any time.

3. Artwork & Content Moderation

All submitted artwork and content should be:

  • appropriate for children and families,

  • respectful and non-offensive,

  • original or submitted with permission.

Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC reserves the right to decline or remove content that may be:

  • harmful,

  • offensive,

  • discriminatory,

  • abusive,

  • inappropriate,

  • unsafe for children.

4. Parental & Guardian Consent

Children’s artwork, participation, and information should only be submitted:

  • by a parent or legal guardian,

  • by a school or organisation with permission,

  • or with appropriate parental consent.

By submitting artwork or participating in activities, parents/guardians confirm permission has been granted.

5. Events & Workshops

For future creative workshops, wellbeing activities, auctions, and community events, we aim to:

  • provide welcoming and respectful environments,

  • encourage positive behaviour,

  • support inclusivity and accessibility,

  • work appropriately with schools, parents, and organisations,

  • prioritise child wellbeing during activities.

Children attending events may require supervision by parents, guardians, schools, or responsible adults depending on the event format.

6. Photography & Media

Photos or videos may occasionally be used for:

  • website content,

  • social media,

  • promotional materials,

  • community updates.

We aim to:

  • use respectful imagery,

  • avoid sharing sensitive information,

  • seek permission where appropriate.

Parents or guardians may request that images or content be removed.

7. Concerns & Reporting

If you have concerns about:

  • child safety,

  • inappropriate content,

  • behaviour,

  • safeguarding matters,

  • or misuse of our platform,

please contact us as soon as possible.

We take safeguarding concerns seriously and will review issues appropriately.
