These Auction Terms & Conditions apply to all live auctions, online auctions, fundraising events, and artwork bidding activities organised through Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC.

By placing a bid or participating in an auction, you agree to these terms.

1. About Our Auctions

Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC hosts charity-focused art auctions designed to:

celebrate children’s creativity,
support young artists,
raise funds for meaningful causes,
encourage positive community engagement through art.

Artwork featured in auctions may be created by children, young artists, schools, community groups, or workshop participants.

2. Eligibility To Bid

By placing a bid, you confirm that:

you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian,
the information you provide is accurate,
you are legally able to complete payment if your bid wins.

We reserve the right to refuse or remove bids where necessary.

3. How Bidding Works

Auctions will run for a specified period of time shown on the website.
The highest valid bid at the end of the auction will normally be considered the winning bid.
Auction timings are based on the countdown timer displayed on the website.
Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC may extend, pause, remove, or cancel auctions where technical issues, safeguarding concerns, or unusual activity occur.

4. Winning Bids

Winning bidders agree to:

complete payment within the timeframe provided,
provide accurate delivery or collection details,
communicate respectfully regarding artwork arrangements,

If payment is not completed within the required timeframe, we may:

cancel the winning bid,
offer the artwork to another bidder,
relist the artwork in a future auction.

5. Payments

Payments must be made using approved payment methods provided through the website or agreed arrangements.

Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC reserves the right to:

refuse suspicious transactions,
cancel fraudulent activity,
remove bidders who misuse the platform.

6. Charity Contributions

Auction proceeds may be shared between:

selected charities,
creative projects and young artist opportunities,
operational and event costs.

Where displayed, percentage allocations will explain how funds are distributed for that event or campaign.

7. Artwork Information

We aim to display artwork images and descriptions as accurately as possible.

However:

colours and sizes may vary slightly depending on screens and photography,
artwork may contain natural imperfections due to being handmade creations,
some artwork may be created by young children or community participants.

This uniqueness is part of the creativity and charm of the project.

8. Delivery & Collection

Delivery, shipping, or collection arrangements may vary depending on:

artwork size,
location,
event type,
auction format.

Additional delivery charges may apply where stated.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the fundraising nature of our auctions:

bids are generally considered final,
refunds may not be available once payment is completed,
exceptions may be considered where required by law or in exceptional circumstances.

10. Behaviour & Fair Use

Participants must:

behave respectfully,
avoid fraudulent or misleading activity,
avoid manipulating bids,
avoid abusive or inappropriate conduct.

Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC may suspend or block users who misuse the platform.

11. Limitation Of Liability

Charlie & Bella’s Creations CIC is not responsible for:

technical interruptions,
bidding delays,
internet or website failures,
third-party payment issues,
inaccurate user-provided information.

Participation in auctions is at the user’s own discretion.

12. Changes To Auction Terms

We may update these Auction Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will appear on this page.
